dGB is indeed the faste ROM I've ever had (LeeDroiD, Cyanogen, MildWild), including Officials (Froyo, Gingerbeard). I guess that was a good choice.. tho its missing some things, or even options that I have to look for. Options like Indicators colour (battery, wifi, etc..), or when to lock the screen and ask for pattern (f.e 3 minutes after last use), and stuff that Mild and Cyanogen had on their settings. Then Im good to go.

Hi, I've just installed this after my leedroid desire died and I searched for a small, basic ROM and this seemed to fit the bill.

I'm trying to copy the UI sounds into the system/media folder but it says read only (using ES File Ex). I thought it would be simple but seems not. Is there an easy way to do it?

You need to mount /system as read/write. I'm not sure how to do that in ES as I always use Root Explorer for that sort of thing (which has a nice obvious button for doing this). Try setting while viewing /system, or long-press the icon for the /system partition - there should be an option somewhere.

Or open the ROM zip on your pc & drop the files into the system audio file & reflash the ROM without wipe.
