Root [ROM] KillahBeanBuildRC4 - EXT 4

i had the FF18 before but i told you i changed my phone today which brought FI25 but now ima try to install from 6.0.3.2 and if if ima install from 5.0.2.8 after i root this new baby.

EDIT: W...T....F..... in 5.0.2.8 it is still stuck in the SCH-R720 screen.... ima have to give up :(

btw i noticed in your pic it says killah_bean-RC3 not RC4... maybe thats why?

EDIT: OMFG I GOT IT OMGOMGOMG I KNOW HOW TO DO IT!!!!! IF WHAT HAPPENED TO ME HAPPENS TO YOU YOU JUST HAVE TO INSTALL STOCK++ THEN THIS OVER IT :D

Good to know you got it but as for the pic that said rc3 lol I forgot to change it to rc4

BTW 5.0.2.8 i don't recommend for people to install this rom in it since it takes away features.:smokingsomb:

i figured out the problem for me was that for some reason i have to install 6.0.3.2 from 5.0.2.8 BUT i must be in an EXT4 ROM to do it OR my phone will brick. My sugestion is to install STOCK++ ON 5.0.2.8 THEN UPDATE TO CWM 6.0.3.2 AND FROM THERE INSTALL KILLAH_BEAN. Only for the people that have problems... i am 100% sure this will work.
 
Bro.. i got the galaxy s3 fonts in case you want to add them to your ROM... i installed them with the right permissions and it looks really realistic now.

Thanks bro, and also pm me the link to the fonts so I can try it out. Also I can't wait for kitkat to come out. Don't really look like they changed anything theme wise though , other than different color notification with different apps....
 
I am currently on KillahBeanBuildRC4 - EXT 4. Its a great Rom. When I try metropcs visual voice mail it gives me a provision error. Is there a way to fix that?

Sorry to hear about that, but I don't have data. So I can't fix it , you can try to downgrade the app. Like find a lower version of it, because I was going to remove it but then I myself still uses visual voice mail on my S3 so I left it alone.... I will try and look into it.

FOR EXAMPLE.. try this: OPEN GOOGLE PLAY STORE AND WHILE YOU ARE ON THE PLAY STORE PRESS THE CAMERA BUTTON AND THE CAMERA WILL OPEN!

Thanks for that bud, I tried it today and it worked, still don't know how but it worked.
 
I only use my admire for pc media controls and wifi speaker, but I still enjoy trying on new stuff and I must say, this is on of the nicest roms I have had the pleasure of using. I wish I would've gotten to use it while I still used the phone as a phone. Oh well, keep up the good work killah. Maybe some day you might try to do some dev on the l9. One could only hope.
 
Killah I know you gave us an awesome 1.2ghz kernel.. do I need to use an overclocking app to use it. Like do i have to use an apparently to set my minimum to 1.2ghz and maximum 1.2ghz

Yes, you do. I couldn't put the CPU settings in the settings column. Kept force closing.
 
Pulled my old admire out and install this rom fell in love with it all over again. Thanks for this great rom glad to see someone still developing on these older phones.


Edit: Had a question. What would I need to remove or uninstall to get rid of the old phone functions that I don't need since I buy use wifi and blue tooth and gps

Well you don't need to get rid of the functions, just have the phone disconnected from metro and just use WiFi.

If you really want to you can do like I did and remove the dialer, phone, messaging, and any other app related to the actual phone usage. Also if you accidentally removed something and you break your phone you can just as easily reinstall you're ROM.

I do that now but I had hear of people clearing out the space those phones calling functions take up and saving alot of battery because it no longer searches for a signal.

Nope. It makes a great round the house PC remote and wifi speaker. I can let it sit for almost a week without charging it and still have half a battery.

I successfully installed Admired monster 4.0

question if I wanna install this do I have to upgrade CWM? and 2.3.4 to 2.3.6? and would I still be able to use this at metro if I ever wanted it connected? coz currently its disconnected

If you want you can upgrade your cwm recovery to 5.0.2.8 (but that's for the new build of this ROM) , for the old build just wipe everything then install from sd card.

ok ahm by any chance u have the link for Cwm 5.0.2.8 so I can install the new build. and if you can send the link for the build I would highly appreciate it ^^ and the other question? 2.3.4 to 2.3.6 is it required? and lastly would I still be able to use this at metro?
 
i flash the ext menu and the jellybean theme,. then i boot to homescreen and it still stock th eme and no ext menu. i tried several times and no work. what i do wrong?

Also i know Killah says you can flash from 5.0.2.8 but i would try to flash it in the highest version of CWM as possible... i flashed it in 5.0.2.8 and was missing some features. Just saying. Also make sure you are still not on 5.0.2.7 because if you were you are lucky your device even booted and it did not soft brick.
