First off let me start by saying a few things..

-This is not my work. I did not create it-- or have any input besides-- applying the MMS fix found by Krowley3 in order to get MMS working on our Evo V's when using 3D ROM's

-That being said i would like to Thank Chubbzlou for allowing me to post his and his teams Sense 4 ROM here. Classy Classy Dude :). Also thanks to Chubbzlous and his team for all their work and the awesome Sense 4 Build

-I have not changed one thing in this ROM besides adding the MMS edits..If enough interest is there i will update this thread whenever Chubbz updates his OP..

-Right now I'm also working on porting over all One V related files and goodies into this base. In the end to hopefully have as close as possible to a full Virgin Mobile Sense4

-If you run into any issues or find any bugs be sure to search Chubbz original thread for possible solutions or known bugs

-I have only tested this with 4EXT and HIGHLY suggest using it to flash this ROM

-DISCLAIMER- I am not responsible for anything you willingly do or try with your phone, if something goes wrong do not point your finger at me or anyone else

-Flashing the goods
1-Wipe data factory reset
2-Wipe cache
3-Wipe Dalvik
4-Format all partitions (EXCEPT SDCARD)(Optional)
5-Install zip from SD
6-Select the Sense4_EvoV.zip, and yes to install
7-Be patient, Sense ROMS take forever to flash
8-Reboot
9-On first boot-up let phone settle for a few before you go jamming away :D
10-Have fun

-If you are S-ON..You will probably have to extract and fastboot flash the kernel. But then again, if your using 4EXT like i suggested maybe not ;)

-Updating your profile has been reported to temporarily break data..Do so on another ROM!

-Confirmed working on downgraded ENG Hboot 1.04

-Issue with wifi coming back on once phone goes into deep sleep
Wifi deep sleep fix----->Menu--->Settings---->select Wifi---->Select 3 dots upper right corner---->Select advanced---->Keep wifi on during sleep=Always..
-By default the system kills wifi when the phone goes into deep sleep

Ported from the Villec2 RUU 1.11.401.101 everything is full functional.
This is still in the RC/beta stage due to we are going to add some tweak and stuff and fine tune it. Enjoy!!

may wanna hold off..i think i introduced a small last minute bug..trying to address it now..if the phone goes into deep sleep its hard to get wifi to turn on..3g acts similar but it will come on..a hot reboot fix's the situation..looking into it now
 
oh yeah, Krowley3 posted in a few of his threads how to fix mms..but in 3.6 Roms..sense 4 was the same deal but there is not mms.apk to swap out so i just added it and the mms.odex file as well..change the build prop..change apn.xml

Although I would like to take more credit for this than I actually deserve, there really was not much to this fix. When I first tried this rom, it would recognize that I received MMS, but it would not download the picture. So what I ended up doing first was editing the build.prop to match up with Virgin settings and info. I also pulled the mms.apk from JMZ deodexed rom and swapped that out into this rom. After I did that, I pulled apart the framework-res.apk and swapped out the apns.xml from JMZ deodexed rom framework-res.apk. What made it easier on this rom is the fact that it is already based on the Virgin leak. There maybe something else in there that could prevent it on other 3D roms but in theory other roms based on that leak with the above modifications should work. All those changes may not even be necessary, but all I know is MMS works and there is nothing that I can find not working properly in the rom.
 
put the fix for wifi deep sleep issue in the OP..

not sure if its supposed to be killed in deep sleep or if it is a true bug..but either way it can be fixed through settings

strange..i have been playing with it all night..my camera is working fine..try re-downloading and re-flashing..did you do a clean install? full wipe..

did you install any previous data..from another ROM?
 
Flashed Mobz dual core mod and both are active now during screen on. I like Sense 4.0, too bad about 4G. Is it even possible to get 4G working on this?


Edit: Also, is there a way to switch to fahrenheit?

Yes we will have 4g soon enough..I agree I prefer sense4 over 3.6 anyday..thanks for the dual core tip..ill ask mob if he minds if I stick it in the op..click on the weather display then select settings..change from celsius to Fahrenheit
 
Running right now; and quite happy with the visual and functional improvements on the sense system from 3.6 to 4.0. Many things were done/added that i would have asked HTC for if i had the option. Nice ROM
 
Runs really smooth. I tried to update my profile and now I have no service. I'm hoping it's just a Virgin Mobile thing and my phone is not screwed up. I've tried 3 other roms and a nandroid restore and still no signal. Any ideas?

I've contacted VM and they said that there are no service outages in my area. What do I do now???? Even the stock vm shooter rom and my nandroid backup are not connecting. I've attached a screenshot. Says mobile network is on but disconnected. PLEASE HELP!!

Also Wi-Fi will not turn on anymore.
 
On the Fourth of July this happened to me also and i was sooooo scared. i also tried switching between roms that night but nothing helped. What eventually ended up happening was my phone dying from all of the shut downs and reboots. So what i did was take out the battery from my phone and left it out for about and hour or two. when i had gotten home aftter the hour or two i put the battery back in and charged my phone enough to turn on and everything was fine...weird. but that was my fix as werid as it sounds.
 
Gonna try my very first nandroid backup that I made when I first rooted my phone. If that doesn't work I will try your method. Thank you.
 
WiFi gets killed in deep sleep..follow my fix in op..as far as your 3g and updating your profile I have no idea bro..if it is from Rom to Rom the same issue I would say that its a virgin thing or something got jacked up when updating profile..I have never tried updating so I'm not sure

One more thing that you could do is open up the phone app an dial ##25327# and then the EPST menu should come up. Tap on you menu button and then tap reset and it should reactivate your phone meaning it will reconnect to VM.
