Root Root and OTA Updates

Crap. I don't have SU after all. The SU command failed in the terminal, and the commands gave me "permission denied." What's the safest way to re-root?
 
No go: error: "signature bugs unavailable" for Mancow's method.

Maybe I should uninstall SuperSU and try again? It's still there, just not functional. When I try to launch, it says "There is no SU binary installed and SuperSU cannot install it. THis is a problem!"

I had SuperSU from my previous root.

You could try kingo. I have never used it and know nothing about it except a lot of zte owners have used it successfully.

Yeah maybe uninstall and install again. Seems like the problem is with SuperSU
 
Would running the stock debloated & deodexed ROM keep me from getting the OTA. I have been trying to download it and always says "System up to Date"
Was thinking about flashing the completely stock ROM, trying to get the OTA then reroot and reinstall CWM.

The update will come in and download on the deodexed rom, but it will not work. If i were you i would wait until I post the new roms with the update included. We are working on it right now actually.
 
OK, I'll wait for a new ROM. Just thought it was odd the update wasn't showing up for me. Thanks to all of you working on this. :D
 
Nevermind. Got it.

Here's the link to boot.img, which is about 16MB. System.img is uploading to Dropbox now (google drive wouldn't take it), but the upload will be a while; it's about a gig.

Will do once it uploads. I'm bushed, so it may be tomorrow if that's okay. It's only a quarter uploaded so far (slow connection tonight). Sorry! It's coming!

Tomorrow is fine. I was actually referring to sharing the boot.img link. It says permission denied when i try to download.
