I cannot find a comprehensive how to to root my Republic Wireless Moto X 1st generation XT1049 running Lollipop (not KitKat).
I know very little Linux and am not too sure about phones. I can do fairly well with Windows.
I rooted a phone with a 1 click root once, and that did great, but I cannot seem to find that for this phone.
If I have to reset phone I would need to be able to do a backup. I tried App Backup & Restore, and I believe it saved it to my Google Drive Account.
