Help S II X won't boot up (stuck on loading screen)

Hey all, I own the Samsung Galaxy S II X from Telus which is the same phone as the T-Mobile S II. I was just surfing the internet on my phone when it suddenly turned off, and then when it booted up by itself again, it got to the black loading screen (with the Samsung logo in the middle and a blue loading bar at the bottom) and didn't continue after that. Holding down the power button for 10 seconds turns it off but then it immediately tries to turn on again and gets to the same loading screen and stops there. Is this a sign that my phone is done or what?

EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm not running any custom firmware or anything like that, it's all original

did you solve your problem? if yes, how did you do it? i have the same problem, no luck yet
