S7 or S7 Edge

I think I'll will get the normal one not 100% sure about edge phones, I got a s5 was going to trade it in for a note 5 or s6 but the shop keeper told me to wait to see what the s7 is like.
I wanted to get the edge but a lot of people that had purchased the S6 told me that the Edge was a pain and looked ugly in person, so I went to an EE store and checked them out for myself and fell in love with the edge. Therefore I will definately be getting the S7 edge. It's down to your personal preference but I think the edge is gorgeous!
I have a GS6edge and a Note 4. I plan on getting the GS7edge and the Note 6 later this year.
I initially thought I would go with the GS7 but I changed my mind to go with the edge because of the larger screen size. I suspect that the Note 6 and GS7edge+ (if that is what they will come out with later this year) will have around a 6 inch screen considering the normal edge+ is now 5.5 inches.
I like the edge, but I hate the fact that there are less case options for it as a result.

I'd get the edge, but I like to put my phone in my pocket. So I'm getting the shorter, regular S7.
Do you mind me asking if you ordered it through US AT&T? That is my main carrier as well and I wanted to order it today too, but I am having difficulty with the system since it seems to choke at my old grandfathered unlimited plan as well as my family messaging with mobile to mobile features. Anyway, didn't mean to go off on a tangent.
Thanks for helping, I own the s5 right now, I'm going to save up to get the regular s7 on prepay but also going to wait until the reviews are out on it.

Personally I think that edge style is beautiful. It makes it look way different from the iPhone. The regular S6/S7 looked too similar to my tastes. That curved screen through, it just has a beautiful way to it.
I know me and my husband have had all HTC phones since the EVO so this is a change for us. I want the Edge cause of the bigger screen and he did too up until he found out about cases cause he likes the Otterbox Defender which they don't make for edge phones and the Seidio convert holster combo he's also used before and they don't even know what their making or a release date and he needs something when he gets the phone. I'm excited and can't wait to get the phone. But someone posted this beetle case and it has the holster so maybe my husband will like it and get the Edge still. I hope I like the edge. My M9 has a 5" screen and the S7 is only 5"1 so not much difference so I think I am going to like havng the 5"5.

I am hoping this time around there are more case options for the S7 Edge and I think there will be since it's not really a new thing anymore. I have a S6 Edge as well as a Note 4 - and I went with the S7 Edge because of the bigger screen to replace the Note 4. To be honest, when I held the S7 Edge at a store - it doesn't feel that much bigger than my S6 Edge which has a 5.1 inch screen. It felt smaller than the Note 4 which has a 5.7 inch screen. I think you'll be pleased.
I had this case for the S6 Edge and I'm going to get it for the S7 Edge. I also eventually may think of getting a battery case if I am killing the battery too much.

I am switching from the large iPhone 6+ so I went for the Edge, but my mom thinks its too big and she got the plain S7. I kept talking about the S7 and saying how good and feature filled it is so she decided to get one too.
Well now I don't know what to do I really wanted the zagg glass and best buy told me all their accessories came in yesterday and they would have Zagg glass but he must not realized I meant for the edge. So I went to their website and they don't have one. It didn't even say coming soon. Amazon didn't really have any neither. I heard just like cases their hard to find for the edge. So now I'm thinking about the S7 but I'm sure I'll still get the Edge. But I do want a good protector on their one you can't really tell it has one on. My husband now wants the silver edge not black and he said he may try to get up and meet me at BB to see both phones but if he doesn't like the edge he wants to be able to exchange it for the S7. And what about a car dock will the edge fit and work? I have always had a car dock for my phones.
Someone wrote in one of these threads that they called Zagg and they told him that they don't expect to have the S7 Edge glass until like August or Fall. Who knows how true that is, but it's long enough for me to consider getting a standard screen protector at least for the interim. I share your concern for the glass because there is less protection from the cases due to the design however I have not had issues with it with my GS6 Edge.
You shouldn't have a problem with a car dock. It will fit in Samsung's universal dock fine and other docks that can fit a phone of that size. It's not the biggest phone out there. That is - without a case. With a case may make it too big depending on the case.

I forgot what Car Dock I have but my HTC M9 fits in it with the case on. But Zagg wrote me back and said yes they plan on making one but it will be 2-3 weeks or more before it's released. So I think I'm gonna go to the Zagg Kiosk and just let him put me on the HD one he has for 25 bucks. Anyone ever used that one? I just want it put on good.

I have the Zagg HD on my S4 and it's held up well and looks good too. You have to make sure its put on correctly though.
Well I am getting it from the Zagg Kiosk in the mall they put it on for 5 bucks so I hope they do it good. It'll probably be his 1st one on an edge.
