S7 Text Messaging ??? Not the same to me

I just received my new S7. I previously had a HTC One (M7)... When TM with the HTC, all O had to do was enter a recipient, select a microphone symbol on the keyboard, as talk to the phone and it utilized voice to text function to type the message... hit sent and it was gone... Now with the S7 I have been unable to find anything like this with either of the messaging programs (Messages or Message +) that came on the phone. I can survive without this function BUT the wife also has a new S7 and she likes the Voice to Text function.. Help or Suggestions please??

Sorry... should have read further... Hold the keyboard key next to the SYM key down and the choice of the microphone will appear..
