Samgsung Galaxy Europa

Hello All, can anyone help me with 2 things for the galaxy Europa, (1) is there a loudspeaker and how is it activated on and off and (2) if one uses quick dial during the call a small lock appears saying double click to remove but it returns in about 2 seconds, not a problem until one is using voice mail retrieve, or any other call requiring different keys to be pressed, when one is asked to press keys to different options tapping the lock activates the wrong option.
can that lock be deactivated or made to stay off for longer than a minute.
