Thank you all for your replies, at the beginning I thought that it was something for my phone only, now at least I know that it happens with all S3 devices !
.
One last question .. Today a new laptop device appeared in my gallery that contains some photos, however all of them were grey (unloaded) for some reason, the problem is whenever this laptop appears my albums also become grey and I have to wait for a long time before the pictures and videos load, and the thumbnails of the albums are grey as well. Any information about that ?
.
Thanks ..
Sorry to bring up an old post, but I prefered this as oppose to opening up a new thread.
Guys, it is not just the S3, any device that picks up shared folders will do this.. I have it set up this way on my PC so that I can stream videos into my Ps3, but only within inside your network..
How to fix this? When you connect into a wifi, set it as PUBLIC (on PCS) so that it won't share pictures/videos.. Your S3 won't share anything from withint it, so don't worry about it.
If you have a shared folder or media streaming turned on in your computer, anybody who connects to your network (your wireless router) can view them, or you can tweak the options in the router to not allow certain computers.
My question is this, and it is the same as your last unanswered question.. Is there a way to disable my Galaxy S3 from reading pictures or videos on shared devices from within the phone?
My problem is the same as above, I have a lot of pictures and videos shared from my computer on my hidden network, so whenever i open up the gallery, it won't load thumbnails because there are so many folders.
Any help on this guys?
I know I could block it from the router, but I don't want to BLOCK IT OUT completetly i Just want them not to appear.
Any help would be greatly appreciated guys!
