I just wanted to buy an other samsung charger to keep one at my office.
(You know well how fast the battery will dry in i5801)
In two of the dealer shops it was not available. So i purchased ERD Charger(Leading point powertronics (p) Ltd-Delhi) in local market and started to charge my mobile Samsung i5801. Immediately i could see some screen started scrolling here and there randomly and in few seconds it hanged completely...unable to go to any menu at all. Some how i escaped from the mess. After all, The specification seems to be same with the original charger:
ERD....................... 4.6 V DC with 800mA 110-240V AC 50-60 Hz
Original samsung ..... 5.0 V DC with 700mA 150-300V AC 50-60 Hz
Though seems almost same, ERD hangs completely.
Difference seems to be in 700mA and 800 mA, 100 milli ampere difference!!
The guy who is a techy in electrical circuits only should clear here!
OK friends! Do not buy any other charger than Samsung chargers and get in trouble!
