I need some help from you guys, I have noticed many samsung i7500's being sold from asia, especially on ebay for around $300

I am just wondering whether these were the real thing.

    Thanks

All I can say is, if you're referring to USD300, here in HK, it's possible, thanks to parallel imports (is that the term? My vague memory of high school economics fails me often)

some areas in asia have *whatchacallit* instead of wifi (not sure if it's just different firmware or if the hardware is different)

In India we use Wifi, Indian i7500 are totally compatible with european firmware which in fact I use JB2 without removing csc, you can get this phone for 285usd at infibeam or 300 usd at univercell.
