My Droid X no longer recognizes my sd card. My computer also says there is no card. The phone says to format the card or that there is a non android system files on it. When I try to format, it will not format. Any way to save the info from my last save and format the card?

Happens on a lot of phones 2-3x a week. Turn off phone. Take out SD card & put it back in. Turn on phone. Should recognize again.

If it's the same problem I had, it's DOA. Buy a new one, hope it lasts longer than the six months mine did. I believe it's a small but obvious problem that's been going on.

Happened to a class 10, 16 gb card in my tablet, after 5 weeks. If you're going to buy a new one, get a SanDisk.

Mine was a SanDisk that failed. Now I have a PKNY 10 class, and I'm seeing how long it lasts.
