Help Sharing with ps3

I have searched all over and can't seem to find a solution.

I am trying to either send videos to my ps3 or stream them on a media server. I have successfully connected using a dlna app but video was sluggish if in HD. I would like to find a way to transfer files to the ps3. Don't really care if its wirelessly done or with USB.
