should I have got this Incredible?

I was just looking for some insight as to whats up with the Incredible. I follow a lot of Android sites and it seems like there are updates, rooting all this other stuff going on with the other droids especially Moto Droid and n1. I mean I like this phone but are the developers going to catch up with the phone someday with really nice games like moto droid has with although it has half the processor the incredible has.
