Should I use the same google login for play store on 2 devices or should I open a new google login for my new android tablet?

What are the pros and cons?

    Thanks

You certainly can use the same Google accounts on more than one device.

I have several Android devices and use both of my accounts on each (I have a personal account and an account I use for app development).

I can't think of any reason to not do this...

    Cheers!

Be careful, a device with Google account enabled can give access to all of your private data on Google, if you have to lend your other device to someone else from time to time, I recommend using another Google account.

Yes, if the tablet will be used by you and not someone else. The biggest pros would be syncing of contacts, calendar, pictures, and app purchases. If you buy an app, it will be connected to your google account. If you use a different account on your tablet, you'll need to buy the app a second time to get it on both your devices.

Thanks all. Most likely I will be opening a new Google account. The tablet main purpose is use as a car GPS most of the time.

How about investing in a real GPS device? It's cheap and as it's optimized for this specific task you will never have problem with it. Tablets are overkill for GPS-only usage. A good GPS device could last the car's entire lifespan.

I like to see the top view (bird's eye view) of the map sometimes, and a tablet is bigger.
