Skype and phone book combination nightmare

After I installed Skype, I chose to sync my Skype contacts with my phone book. Some of my contacts have both Skype and regular numbers, so I decided to combine them. Here's the issue: the display name for the combined contacts is the SKYPE ID instead of the contact's full name. Is there a way to show the full name instead like before?

EDIT: My phone is a Nexus S (not 4G) and I'm running Cyanogenmod 7 on it.
