Help Sound issues with SIP applications

I have tried Linphone and Sipdroid, and both of them redirect the audio through the back speaker instead of the front one. When I try to enable the speaker mode on these apps, it makes the volume louder on the back speaker, but nothing comes from the front.

Fring works fine though - after I enable/disable the speaker mode.

I guess I'm not the only one having this problem:

So my question is - is anyone who has a Samsung intercept successfully able to hear sounds through the front speaker using SIP apps?
