I upgrade to Gingerbread OS from Froyo about 3 weeks ago. My phone speaker has been working fine, until this morning. Suddenly the speaker is not producing any sound. I can hear if I plug in a headset or if I am talking to someone one the phone I can hear, but not through the rear speaker. No notification sounds, no ringtones,no alarms & no music!!!! In my music player I used to be able to listen in 5.1 dolby sound - now it just tells me that my speaker does nto support sound effects. I don't know if gingerbread OS has anything to do with this or not. I really need help figuring this out.
