Root splash screen

does any one know how or where to get a stock nexus like splash screen? I used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1194459 link and a bmp file of the image but it comes out all distorted. I want to make it look like this one http://s9.postimage.org/4g33d8g5r/SPLASH.png so my device has a more stock nexus feel to it.

after fooling around a bit , i made the splash image. it isn't perfect but if any one wants them they are here

Do you intend to use the splash screen on the EVO V 4G? I'm asking because the dimensions vary from device to device. Anyway, I can make it for you.

If you gimme a image ill make it...you mean the initial HTC screen right?

Or you can do it yourself with a pc, image editor, and 7zip

I plan on replacing the htc quietly brilliant splash image and yes it is the evo v 4g. if you could make it for me i would be very thankful.

incase you need it the resolution is 540 by 960

i tried that but got the same results. i did that but the image is still distorted. I'm trying to find or resize the image so it will work on the evo v 4g.

alright thanks. do you know of any free ones that you would recommend. I heard gimp was good. would it work?
