Stock music app accessing data?

I'm on a limited data plan so I decided to get the 3g watch dog pro app so I could see which apps were causing me to go over my data quota. Surprisingly, the app that used the most data was the stock music app. Why would it need to access 3g data? I'm not streaming anything. Seems a little ridiculous for it to use upwards of 10 mb per day when I hardly ever even open it. What gives?
