Help strange messaging problem. help please

there is a strange problem with the messaging app on my htc magic.
it only happens some timeshowever when it does it makes messaging extremely difficult.
after i finish a word and i push the space button the cursor changes from where it should be (after the word) to either the line above or to above message on the thread.
does anyone know of this problem and how it can be fixed??

I have had the same issue something tells me its a issue with installing 3rd party apps. Seems to happen with documents to go for me but since i got the official app it works better now.

My htc magic does the same thing, but it does it in handscent sms, and email too. Drives me nuts. Rogers says they never heard of it before.

Try getting swype for your device. Much faster than the one finger punch-a-thon we do now. Pandaapp.com has the best version.

I uninstalled robo defense and now my messaging seems to be fine.
maybe try that if you have the same problem.
