    The only way you can do this is being connected to Wifi.

    I do it all the time when connected via wifi. You can read your downloaded email and such while you are on a call. Just can't send or receive new email unless connected to wifi.

    Correct, WiFi is the key here. No carriers CDMA network will allow voice and data use at the same time.

    I see AT&T pushing this feature now because their 3G network coverage sucks. I guess I personally don't see this as a huge feature because I've never needed to talk and surf the web at the same time. I personally would rather have a better 3G coverage footprint. I wonder when the Verizon vs. AT&T ad wars will stop. I'd take VZW over AT&T any day if I had to leave Sprint.

    I've heard a few people tried this out and their call dropped when they tried to browse at the same time...so it's a moot point anyway.
