So I recently discovered that t-mobile has 5 GB data cap and after surpassing that point forward your internet speed is throttled for the remainder of the billing cycle. I first discovered this while out of town for Christmas and yeah I didn't have normal internet so I used much more data on my phone so I can see why this would have happened.
This morning a got another one of those "your data will be slowed" messages but this time it has only been 7 days into my billing cycle. This time I have not used anywhere near that much data so it leads me to believe there is a data hog app on my phone. But I cannot seem to find what it is. I called T-Mobile up and they cannot help me whatsoever which I guess I understand but this is starting to get very frustrating. I have thought of doing a master reset on my phone but then that would seem to me to just delay the problem of me installing that same application again and the same data hog problem happening.
Anybody have any tips or tricks on how to track down a data hog app?
