tasker - no location log

Hey folks, I can't seem to get location running in tasker.

On a Samsung Galaxy S running Froyo I've got background data on, GPS on, and WIFI on. Whenever I open the location context, make sure that both GPS and Net are green, and hit 'Get Fix' if it actually completes (rarely) it comes back as 0.0, 0.0 / 30m. The more usual response though is nothing and the %LOC variable is always empty.

If anyone is willing to help me I'd appreciate it.

Do other apps that utilize GPS work on the same device?

Looks like GPS just plain doesn't work.
