Hello, community.
I am opening this thread as I am experiencing issues with the screen of my Samsung Note 5.
On November 17th, I opened this thread about the very first issue I had with the screen:
https://androidforums.com/threads/t-mobile-latest-update-ruined-my-phone.1217063/
As you can see at the end of the thread, I managed all by myself to find a fix that I thought it would be definitive.
But I was wrong; indeed, some days ago, T-Mobile released another software update.
After that update, once I turned on my phone, the same problem with my touch sensitivity and input-output response started occuring once again. And once again, I proceeded by applying the same method to fix it:
On the dial pad, I'd enter the following:
*#2663#
so that I could access this secret menu:
Here, I would tap on the Touch Key FW Update and wait for the process to be completed with a PASS confirmation message.
This apparently solved my problem once more, except that the following day, upon turning on my device, the screen was experiencing the same issues.
So then again, I tried and tried, but it just keeps randomly triggering the sensitivity problems.
I even tried with the other updates of this menu, but nothing seemed to have fixed it.
Can someone help me?
