I recently bought an Evo 4g and it is my first android phone. I am trying to import all of my contacts to my gmail account without any success. My calendar has synced up fine but the contacts are not transferring over.

The contacts were transferred to my Evo from my old phone by a Best Buy rep at the time of my purchase if this matters...since I did not manually create them on my Evo.

Is there any way to get all of these contacts transferred over?

> Export your contacts (for whatever phone it is) to .csv format > upload .csv file to GMail > Export vCard file created in GMail from .csv to the Android phone.
