I'm glad the season doesn't start until March 30th. Going up against March Madness they didn't have a chance.

Easter weekend seems like an odd time to kick off their season but maybe they know what they are doing. Baseball and college basketball will be on as well.

That is what I expected without knowing. One more week of college basketball left. I don't know what waiting a week before starting would have complicated. They will be up against baseball all summer so it isn't that.Start the season after March Madness
i watched a couple games this past weekend and they weren't bad.
Me too my friend. I wasn't a dedicated follower last year but watched some. Zero exposure this year and haven't missed it. It's watchable.. better than bowling or cornhole.. and golf for that matter. But this time of year there are better things I'd rather do.I didn't watch a single game this season. I'm just honestly burned out on the whole spring football league trial and error thing. I hope it can last for the players looking to get that second chance they need to get into the NFL, but as far as watching it, I'm done.
The local U I spoke of above was Wichita State University.... no longer in the Missouri Valley but was for many decades. The Arkansas game was incredible yesterday. I was kind of rooting for Murray State as they are in the same conference as my daughter's school ( Missouri Valley Conference ), but not upset given it was to an SEC school. The Arkansas pitcher had a no hitter, and had a perfect game going until he hit a batter on the foot in the 8th inning. Last no hitter in the CWS was 1960 until yesterday. There has never been a perfect game in a CWS game.
