I bought it unlocked and added it to my family plan and changed the mt3g data package to generic smartphone data (i think is what the rep said) and it works.

Hmmmph. I switched from an old plan (off contract) to the new Even More Plus plan ($60) and was hit by a one-time $35 "plan activation" (not "phone activation") fee. Right there in the footnoted fine print. Great for customer loyalty.

Well when my contract runs out with At&t, I planned on going with T-mobile.
I'd probably get like a $60 plan. I just didn't want to buy the phone unlocked and hear well you still have to get the $80 plan!

Hello All, I have a Tmob G1. Would I be able to buy unlocked N1 ($530) and put the sim card from Tmo g1 into unlocked nexus one?
