Upgrade ZTE Warp to Android 4?

Hi Folks,
Im new to android phones and I am getting the ZTE Warp for Xmas on Sunday and I know it comes with the Android 2.3 version and I am wondering if it's possible to upgrade it to the new 4 version or if it will always only work with the version it comes with? If it is possible how do I do it?

Welcome to AF!

You can potentially change the Android version if you root, but I have no idea whether or not ICS will make it's way to the Warp in an official or unofficial format, sorry. As it stands, I'm not even sure the Warp has a custom recovery image (essential for installing a custom ROM), but I'm pretty sure it's being worked on.

any progress on the warp, i am not a noob have had more htc's then i can count, but boost is cheaper, and this warp is nice, but i would like cwm and a better rom+ kernal. anything i can do to help lemme know
