I have a note n7000 on ICS 4.0 and am a first time android user, bought the phone a week back.
I tried using an 8gb flashdrive with an OTG cable. it didnt recognize the flashdrive at all, though it showed that a USB cable has been connected.
Next i tried a 4gb flashdrive. It did recognize it but didnt show it in the "my files" list. notification says "usb storage is empty or un-recognized format or such"
I installed the "USB host controller " app, that did'nt help. I tried to format the 4gb flashdrive in FAT32 with 1024 cluster size and quick format mode, that didnt help either. I have attached the screenshots from the app.
i dont wish to loose warranty, and have never fiddled with drivers of android device before.
