i bought a usb otg cable in hopes that i could use a usb wifi adapter for monitor mode. i have linux installed on my phone (with linux deploy) and i was hoping this would be as simple as plugging in the adapter and running airmon-ng, but my adapter is not recognized.
is there something i need to install? read that i need a host mode enabled phone and to do that i have to compile a kernel or something, but i have no idea how to do that.
help would be much appreciated.
