Use 3G modem sim card in a Android mobile

Hi guys.

Just a shot in the dark question here.

I was just wondering if its possible to use a 3g internet sim card for meant for usb modems to allow android mobile access the internet, allowing you to login through eg. a html login screen and access the internet etc??
