I was given an opportunity to work with a friend's Japanese based security company and I recently bought a nexus 6 over thanksgiving and would really like to keep the phone I know the Nexus is an unlocked phone so it works on both GSM and CMDA; SOFTBANK and Docomo say they use W-CMDA will I run in to any problems with purchasing and using a Japanese sim card? or will it be easier to just give up my phone and get a japanese version instead?
