I've recently received a Nexus S and I'd like to use it as a simple pay-as-you-go phone (spending a few dollars/month or every few months to have ~100 minutes or so of airtime). I'm currently in the midwest of the USA (Michigan, specifically).
Currently, I've investigated PagePlus, RepublicWireless and Boost Mobile. PagePlus and Republic don't appear to support the Nexus S and the cheapest plan which Boost offers is $30 a month for more than I would need. I've briefly checked TMobile and Sprint, but wasn't able to find what phones are supported, other than the new phones they sell.
So, in short, can I use a Nexus S with a simple, cheap, non-contract provider?
Thanks,
Ian
