Alright...well...I ended up dropping my phone in the water while brushing my teeth...its in rice right now..is there anything besides that that I can do to fix it?

Make sure that bat is remover and after 24 hours or longer pray that itvstill works

i dropped mine in June. I did the rice thing and i guess it worked. I could boot but you couldnt see the screen unless you turned it on/off and it would flash and got dark. after a couple of days i turned it on and left the battery work for couple of min and it came back to life. my best guess would be to give it time..

i dont know. i guess it really depends on the phone and how bad it got wet. goodluck !

Alright update: I put it in rice for around 19 hours. Put the memory card back in and the battery it went into download mode which I thought that was good so then I got into recovery flashed my backup flashed the overclock kernal and it's good to go alright I was sick of the optimus slider because of the low internal memory lol
