I believe computer engineering would make you a little more marketable for different industries and job types. Just my $0.02 though. I started in software engineering, then computer, and finally settled on electrical and have been out 5 years now.
These days there is a lot of crossover in the technical engineering fields. Perhaps if you let us know where you wanted to go with this or what your strengths were, we could make a recommendation. The best thing would be to focus on your area of interest but see if you can get a bit of exposure to other areas as well.
But also, if you're confused by it then perhaps its not your calling?
Lots of people think they'll retrain and earn loads of money, but without passion and natural aptitude, its dead end. You could be good but never great. That said you may have lots of natural aptitude. But its all about heart at the end of the day.
