Help what is going on with my note 4?!

okay so I've nearly gone crazy with this phone lately. I'd say in the past couple of weeks it keeps restarting it self, freezing and even the home button has stopped working (though the finger print sensor works). occasionally it'll restart and have a green android dude with loads of random writing/code in the corner (top left). does anyone have any idea what the heck could be going on?

Sounds like either try a new battery first or do a factory reset, these type of faults are very hard to pin down. Have you installed any apps lately that might be causing it. Phil

not installed any I can think of tbh... I've installed that wake lock app about 4 hours ago as I read on here it would cure the crashing and it appears to have done the trick. I'm still going to invest in a new battery. oddly the home button went first and am hour later I starting getting the crashes etc
