Hardware:
CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 V2.1 (Better heat dispersion)
SCREEN: 5.5" (Smaller bezel then the 1) *Speculation: Full HD 1080p*
RAM: 4GB LPDDR4 (Noticeably faster, and energy efficient)
BIOMETRICS: Fingerprint scanner, (Probably located on the back. Oneplus claims it is 2x faster then any iPhone)
CAMERA: 13mp sensor(?)


Software:
Operating System: OxygenOS V2 (The OxygenOS team is largely comprised of Paranoid Android team members, and well recognized themers.) *Will use backports of the fingerprint API used in Android M.*
Android Version: *Speculation: Android 5.1.1*
*Speculation: Themes: OxygenOS V1 has partial RRO support.

Themes (rro/layers) would be cool on Oxygen. I know oxygen on the One supports it :thumbsupdroid:
Specs sound beastly. Wish I was in the market for one but my One is gonna have to last me a couple of years :(
 
I'm hanging on for the nexus news (the moto X news is also in consideration right now)

The OPT isn't the dead cert I thought it was going to be.
 
They are different and in the end it will be up to the user's preferences to decide which is best. At the current development stage, CM has more features and customization along with a larger crew which helps fix issues faster. We will have to see how big of an investment OnePlus has put into their development staff and how that has worked out for them.
 
No one has received invites till date I think they are going to send them out from 11 also what worries me is the invites say that delivery times could be three weeks that really murder
