No but I don't know how to root my Android and I don't think having a Mac helps a lot in that matter. I'm new to the Android world

While I do not know everything about the difference between 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 but unless I am mistaken the big part of 2.3.4 was the added support for video chat which since the inspire does not have a front facing camera we are not able to do.

Kinda old thread but I know another addition to 2.3.4 was including screenshot capabilities for the device. Just my 2cents

No it doesn't. No version of GB will ever have screenshot ability.
