When will the android 2.2 froyo update arrive to Singapore (Asia)?

Hi. I am using htc desire in singapore and will like to know when the update will be out.

I bought my HTC Desire in Singapore but I'm staying in Malaysia. So if the froyo update is available in SG, am I right to say that it will also be available here? I'm worried that it will mess up my phone, i read some posts over the net so I'm a bit worried.

Upgraded to 2.2. Build 2.13.707.1. But interface hasn't changed at all...in fact nothing seems to have changed. Phone memory is 40+mb. On Desire/Singtel.

What went wrong, and what's the solution?

Yes.. it's in Brunei. Finished downloading but I have problem installing it.. as mine was rooted with unREVoked for market access...

Hah.. managed to upgrade using ROM manager... So.. YES.. I am on 2.2 now.. It really shot HD Video..

Just downloaded and installed it today while I was out, no problems even on HSDPA. A really pleasant surprise since they had already announced it would only be here in mid-September.

Really loving all the improvements, especially the HTC touches. One noteworthy thing I've observed: Asian firmware now includes touch calibration, European languages, and more keyboard options for the input. Previously the latter two were only available on European firmwares.

I just downloaded too. Everything works fine and better than 2.1.

Downloaded mine last night (in the Philippines). Have to say that the 720p video capture is absolutely dreadful.

Anyone else experiencing this? Or know why? Or have a solution?

i am in singapore. just updated to froyo last nite. however, i cant seem to find the flash player 10.1 on the market place. anyone has the same problem?

also the stock app seems to run on the background now. i clicked it not to sync but still happens. don't seem to have this problem before.

You don't need to install Flash Player 10.1, it is already pre-installed by HTC. You can see it there under 'Manage Applications'. Other Froyo phones need to manually get it from the market.
