Help Where are my apps after flash of 2.2?

Hey all,

I'm a relative N00B at all this and I just flashed 2.2 to my phone. Worked great, but now all my apps are gone.

I didn't backup. Heck, I didn't know you could backup this phone.

Are they still there somewhere or am I screwed?

Sorry if this has been gone over. I looked and couldn't find. Just point me in the right direction.

Without a backup, theres not too much you can do

What I did when I had to go back to stock without a back up, was go to https://market.android.com/account

It'll list every app that you've installed. And just click on each app in the list and install.
A bit time consuming having to click through each app and install again, but it works to get all your apps back without having to try to remember which ones you had

Are you missing ALL apps, or just the ones you personally installed?

It's critical that one read, read, read some more, and ask questions before doing stuff like flashing an unofficial custom ROM to your phone. There is plenty on this forum that would've clarified all that for you, as well as the Captivate FAQ:
