Root Where did my recovery go? [Resolved]

Hello,

I just updated to FK23 and flashed MIJJz JB GOODNESS JB 4.1.2 FK23 v1.0.3 -- dig this rom btw, it's just awesome! But anyway, I used Chris41g's EL26 Stock CWM Repack kernel as suggested and everything was great.

I went to do a nandroid and noticed that the CWM recovery used for the flash is now gone and I can only access the stock recovery which doesn't have a nandroid option.

What happened to the CWM recovery and can I get it back to do a nandroid?

This is a whole different world from flashing things on the EVO 4G :hmmmm2:

Flashing the leaked Sprint JB ROMs wipes custom recovery (CWM/AGAT/Roque); the Sprint ROMs need to be repacked with CWM before flashing.

Just reinstall CWM via Odin and you will have it again.

Keep in mind, some roms will come with their own recovery, and some won't.

At times, you'll need to use mobile odin to flash recovery. Any recovery is fine to backup/restore nand's.

But EL26 is the only true safe recovery when flashing
