Will I lose all my Contacts going to zen?

I am wondering if I will lose all my contacts I have most of them linked to my Gmail account so that should be fine is there a step by step process of going from Fresh 2.1.2 to Zenexp

Also I dont want to lose my Apps? And I have a lot of them! So how do I do this?
Also does resetting to default go back to my old phone profile?

titanium backup might help with the apps.. make sure all your contacts are google contacts and they'll be fine. if you have custom ring tones setup for them those will have to be configured again. any NON-google contacts will of course be lost.

make sure you Nandroid before flashing Zen.. then wipe data and davilik..

Also you can export your contacts to your sd card, that's what I did. Open you contacts, hit menu, then you should see export/import (or import/export, I forget), then it'll ask you to backup google or phone, just click phone and then all your contacts will be saved on the sd card for future imports. Importing them back in is the same way.
