Right before Jan Words with Friends began to crash on my Motorola Xoom anyone else having this issue and how did you fix it

i had this happen after i tried to chat with somebody. only closes on my transformer prime, not my phone, samsung epic 4g.

did get an update last night, and it no longer force closes, however it doesn't load any of my games.
