Should add rootpa.apk to this list. From what I read it's snooping the phone for modifications. I have it on mine.

No I don't think so. Word is OTG is disabled by ZTE because it really doesn't play well with the internals of this phone. It breaks it. Of none of us are 100% because we don't have root to test. It could be BS

I see thank you for the reply. I'm so frustrated they locking down on root. Say, do u think it's a good idea if us, MetroPCS customer, I'm assuming you are, bombard them about unlocking the bootloader would it help

Has there been any updates so far on the rooting of the ZTE ZMax, I would read the original thread, but it's too lengthy and I hardly understand it.

Android didn't even exist 10 years lol

I could never move to the iPhone since i bought too many movies and apps on Android. Tho movies would probably work on iPhone the games and apps i would have to re buy.
Also iOS sucks

ZMax Pro is dead now with the announcement of the Blade Z Max. Hopefully that one is rootable but i doubt it

You forgot about the Axon 7 since it's bootloader can be unlocked. (tho if you bought it with B25 you'd have to downgrade to B19 to unlock the bootloader) I think if enough people complain thier future phones maybe unlockable.
