I have a question about this. I want to buy a few apps such as jewellust for my phone but I haven't rooted it yet. So my question is how do my apps link to me through my google account? I just don't want to lose my paid apps when I root.

When you root and log back into your google account, you can search the apps you purchased in the market and re download them with no charge.
