I'm currently running BB v0.4 with the Chevy LV 1000 kernal, but my Quadrant score is only 1226 and I feel like the phone could run a bit smoother/faster. Seeing my results above, what kernal would you suggest I try?

Thanks in advance

I see with BB V0.4 your battery levels are inaccurate. Are u sure the kernels you're using are for 2.2 Froyo? Also i do see ULV kernels don't work on your Droid either, which isn't a rare thing because Chevy knew people were having stability issues with his ULV kernels. That's why he recommends his LV kernels above all. Also you should try MV (Medium Voltage) kernels or SV (Standard). I know a few people in these forums who's Droid only works on MV kernels. Also yeah I do agree with you about BB V.0.4. I've gotten better scores on other ROMs. I'm gonna give CyanogenMod a try and see what happens. I'm pretty sure it'll work out well. But keep experimenting.

I am actually having similar issues with kangerade, didn't have much better luck with bb .4 but had great luck with the kernals by jdlfg and LV kernals by Chevy with Chevy's SS 4.4. I hate to say this, and its driving me nuts, but I flashed back to kangerade 5.0.9 BC I love having a 'girly' theme (yes the pink one). I have flashed several kernals and all run hot and when maxed out (I can't load higher than a 1.1 LV) aren't very smooth. I used the MV 1.1 on kangerade 4.0.7 and it was good. However, I have ROM disease and flash so many ROMs and kernals DAILY that I doubt I'd be satisfied with it now.

I rambled, but basically I'm in the same boat and will probably have to restore my back up of SS 4.4 with the blue theme for speed and accurate (and great) battery usage.

So maybe try a different ROM or check the Chevy's MV kernals or jdlfg .32.

Good luck.

P3's froyo kernals are not in ROM Mangager, so if you are downloading them there they aren't compatible. When I tried using a non Froyo kernal with BB it said my battery was dead too. I couldn't get Jakes 1ghz kernal to boot on my phone. jdlfg 1.1ghz kernal works but is rather laggy compared to P3 or Chevy's. Chevy's gets better battery life on my phone. I can run Chevy's ULV, but I get better battery life with LV.
