HTC Hero and Android 2

Hi,

I'm keen to get my hands on Android 2.0+ on my Hero, but can't find much info about how or when I can get it.

So far, all I've found is this:

HTC Hero Android 2.0 Eclair Update Confirmed

Anybody know anything newer than this?

Nope, no date has been comfirmed yet. It might take a while because they have to incorporate the sense UI into the update.
I'm personally going to wait until it's been incorporated into a Modaco ROM and then update.
I am looking forward to it though, it looks awesome

I would say that is up to date.
I would also say that I'm getting a bit down hearted in the lack of information coming from HTC.

You would have thought that with the HTC Hero winning phone and gadget of the year they would be on top of their game.
And keep their customers up to date rarther than let rumers circulate on websites.
