Lets start off with that this is base on my personal experience and opinions. With that said I personally own a Evo 4g, I got a few co-workers with Incredibles, and large amount of friends with Iphone - so we're constantly doing comparsions. These topics are just minor parts that I think Evo needs some slight improvement on.
Screen:
The iphone 4 is the definitely sharpest out of the 3. When surfing through webpages even the smallest font is visible on the iphone while the HTC phones are still visible but you can notice the pixel. The tested with the slickdeal page with the text on the right side of the site. I guess 960x640 in a 3.5" screen pair with the high PPI really does the magic. With some small research I believe the iphone4 has 326ppi, the Incredible at about 252 and the Evo at 217. I believe the original droid comes in second with 267?
Smoothness:
I'm not sure if the 30FPS cap has something to do with it, but scrolling through menus in the Incredible does feel snappier and smoother. Pinch and zoom on web pages with iphone4 and incredible was close possibly with a slight edge to iphone. The Evo has a small choppiness to it only if you really pay attention to it.
Camera:
I don't know have much experience with the Incredible so I'm leaving this one out. My Evo can take soem good picture, but I think some help is needed. When I say help, I mean like light and steady hands. I believe the iphone4 captures good quality photos easier. Videos is no contest, iphone4 destory the Evo hands down. This is probably nothing big either, but the single LED for the flash is brighter than our dual LED. We did some video conference test on Fring and iphone does seem to capture movements better.
Within those 3 topics, the iphone4 does seem to have a better edge - but there are alot more features that I like from Android that can nowhere be found on iphone. The Evo 4g definitely a good phone and more than sufficient for most smart phone users.
